This book has a lovely story about a little monster who loves to explore the dark caves of the forest until he finds a sweet princess in trouble in one of them. The little monster has to investigate the cave and explore its depths one by one in order to find the princess. The story continues with the little monster returning to his village where he finds out all the bad stuff (dirt, grime and dust). His parents scold him and tell him that he could be dirty and grubby like them if he didn't come back home. Even though he finds out that coming home is not such a big deal after all, the little monster still wants to continue exploring because there're always new caves in his forest. As in other stories by Paddy Agnew, this one is interactive with colourful graphics which make reading easy for children. It's a story that can be read and re-read and which is work for the imagination in a good way.This is also a story about an underground world, but this time it's about an underground teapot called Diminuto, who lives with his brother Monstruo. Down there are also other creatures except for Diminuto and Monstruo, who are the only two creatures who get to go down to the caves. The other creatures are scared of mushrooms mushrooms because they think it might make them explode or make them grow eyes or ears on their heads. They would very much like to go down to the caves too but can't because they are helplessly trapped inside their houses. One day, Diminuto and Monstruo hear that there is a treasure trove of jewels underneath the Forest of Forest and they decide to go and investigate. They succeed in finding the jewels and start to carry them home, but sadly on their way they encounter Grime Queen who makes them leave their precious treasure behind. Diminuto and Monstruo become discouraged and return home. However, they soon hear that the Grime Queen has returned with more force than ever before. She traps all of the creatures underground except for Diminuto and Monstruo who try to escape but fail. cfa1e77820
